Last Friday I came home from work early because I had a horrible headache that started Thursday night. Well, I called the doctor, and to make a long story short, I have shingles, again. I guess when you have an autoimmune disease, you're more likely to get it more than once. I had Shingles about 3 years ago, and I sure didn't want to get it again! Well, I can't do anything about it, so, to keep my mind off of the pain and to concentrate on something fun, I got the projects done for October's stamp camp.
They are so cute! I can't wait for you to make them. I used two Stampin' Up! sets for all of the cards. They are both from the new Holiday Mini Catalog: "Twick or Tweet" & "Sweet Centers". SU has so many cute stamps this year and the Holiday Mini is awesome. Check out my web site to look at the catalog and to check out the dates for camps and classes. I hope that you'll be able to join me soon.

I finally got my some of my Stampin' Up! Convention projects done. Going to convention is so much fun, and there are so many people there that I have a tendency to visit instead of working on projects. I finally completed them at home this past week. I learned so much at convention, not only are the business tips enlightening, the technique presentations by the staff at SU are wonderful, too. I loved the fellowship with other demo's and all of the swaps and project ideas. The entertainment was awesome. We had a chance to see a wonderful acapella group called Tonic Sol Fa. They were so talented and we had so much fun rockin' & rollin'! I'm so excited about the projects, and I'm sure we'll do them sometime, but, right now I'm gearing up for October's Stamp Camp & Scrap Camp. I don't have those projects done, yet, but I'll probably work on them in the next few days. I'm also finishing preparations for the Build-A-Bear Mom & Me workshop which will be held this Saturday. I'm busy with my SU ideas and projects, and I have projects that will keep me busy for quite a while. So, I hope you can join us for some of the events--it's a lot of fun!

Oh my goodness, I just finished the most adorable pages for Scrap Attack. Of course I used all Stampin' Up! inks, stamps, paper and punches. I can't wait for you to complete them! I got this idea a long time ago, but, couldn't visualize it on a page, until this week. I must of had to feel the changing of the seasons in order to produce these pages. Fall is a time that I start craving fresh apples. There is nothing better than to bite into a crisp apple on a beautiful sunny autumn day. These pages are perfect for those backyard family days, picking apples in an orchard, or just to say how much you love "the apple of your eye." My hope is that you'll come to Scrap Attack on September 15th to complete them with me. We'll also be making four cards with a fall theme.
Hope to see you at camp--

I'm so excited about my first Build A Bear Event! I thought it would be so fun to have Mom & Child to participate together. And I had so much fun preparing for the workshop with my new Big Shot Build A Bear Dies & my Beary Best Friends and Beary Nice Wishes stamp sets. I hope you can come to the workshop on Saturday, Sept.19th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM! It will be a "Beary" Fun Time.
